Progressive teaching is harder than it looks. It asks a teacher to hold a learning goal firmly while holding the route to it loosely, and to do that for twenty different children at once.
So we hire for judgment and curiosity as much as for credentials, and we keep classes small enough that good judgment has room to operate.

Continuous training
Teachers meet weekly to plan together and review children's work, and attend external training through the year.
Small class sizes
Classes are kept small so that every child is genuinely known rather than merely supervised.
Background-checked and certified
The school's policy is that all teaching staff hold the required credentials and clearances before they enter a classroom. Ask to see them when you visit.
